Cablesys (CBS) pre-terminated Ethernet UTP cassette plug and play patch panel system offers a simple and clean way of installing patch panels in any data center. It’s a snap on system that requires no tool and no training. The pre-terminated patch panel is wired to TIA-568-B standard with data center grade cable and connectivity which is perfect for enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, server farms, cloud storage networks, and telecommunication rooms. Data center managers, administrators, and staff can install this system with a single screw driver within minutes.
One of the models that the pre-terminated Ethernet UTP cassette plug and play patch panel comes in is the bezel to modular plugs (Model PCB), which is designed for connectivity between a patch panel and a network switch that is equipped with an Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or an RJ-45 enabled port. The 6 port cable assembly is built using CAT 5e cable riser rated CMR for 100/1000Base-T Ethernet and VoIP network applications and is available in lengths of 25 feet, 50 feet, 75 feet, and 100 feet. The bezel is made with a modular design. It is assembled using CAT5e modular jacks which allows a jack to be changed or replaced individually. The bezel, commonly known as modular UTP cassette, snaps into the blank patch panel for tool-less installation. The bezel can be removed from the panel using a flat head screwdriver. The opposite end of the cable assembly is pre-terminated with CAT5e modular plugs. The ends of the plugs are protected with snagless boots to prevent snags and a strain-relief to reduce tight bends. CAT5e cable assemblies are factory terminated and tested to exceed TIA industry performance standards and prepared for immediate use.
For a complete installation, CAT5e cable assemblies come in kits. A 12 port kit comes with (2) 6 port CAT5e cable assemblies (GPP9RAR025-BL), (1) blank patch panel, (1) cable management bar with 3 inch depth, and (2) blank bezels. A 24 port kit comes with (4) 6 port CAT5e cable assemblies, (1) blank patch panel, and (1) cable management bar with 3 inch depth.
