Cablesys offers telco cables (also known as Amphenol® cables) for connecting for telephones systems or Local Area Networks (LANs). A 25-pair, Category 3 (CAT3) rated cables can support up to 25 phone lines or data channels.
Cablesys uses 25-pair connectors with Insulation Displacing Contacts (IDCs) when building Telco cables. The IDCs have spring properties that hold the wires in a stable mechanical condition which provides better performance and higher reliability than traditional soldered joint designs. Telco cables are available in three connection types: female to female, male to female, and male to male to work with various equipment.
