The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) located in California needed a quick way to add patch panel connectivity to their existing cabling system because their deployment date was very time-sensitive. The upgrade only required six RJ45 Ethernet ports. Furthermore, all additional connectivity needed to support up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet bandwidth.
